This is the story about the contradiction of three generations. The folk generation who has the Japanese and Showa sense of the child generation who only know how to speak english, all of them have to live under one foor unwillingly.

Tears, happiness, laughter and contradiction between generations, has created this humour and touching movie. Grandparents started to know younger's thinking, youngers started to get know about the value of tradisional, inderstanding each other is the most important factor of forming a happy family.

　专业主妇今泉桐子（江角真纪子）随着银行员丈夫裕道（加藤浩次）的调职而到了伦敦过了三年的优雅贵妇生活，在老公调回日本后，她也跟随老公带着两个小孩一起回到日本。
因为他们还打算回伦敦，于是就只好暂住在经营神社的公婆家，跟公婆暂时同住一个屋檐下，没想到这样的决定却扰乱了桐子的命运…。


　　而担任神社宫司的婆婆美子（野际阳子）跟公公幸彦（伊东四朗）都很开心地迎接他们的回国。公婆希望裕道继承神社，还特地改建家里让裕道的妹妹奈奈跟她老公作（相叶雅纪）也一起住在家里，让三个家庭同住一个屋檐下。但桐子（江角真纪子）并不想当宫司的老婆，也对美子（野际阳子）清楚地表达了想再回伦敦的意念，让第一天同住在一起的婆媳关系就降到了冰点。
