The movie revolves around an elementary school, where a girl called Mika disappears mysteriously after following the sound of laughter into the bathroom. The rumors of the school being haunted, strange things happening around 4:44 AM and the missing of children soon come to emerge, but Mika's older sister and her friends decide to go after Mika despite this. However, they soon find out that the all the rumors are true, and now they not only have to find the girl, but also for save themselves from the nasty ghosts that haunt the school building.
转学来到天粟滨高校的神庭里美，不论什么事都认真对待。转学第一天里美正在学校里转，碰巧遇到了学校内非承认的“阶段部”社团的部员泉带着女友去保健室。里美也被带到了保健室，泉觉得里美有入部的才能，所以劝说她加入“阶段部”。一开始里美拒绝了她，但是在和“阶段部”部长健吾谈话后，里美决定了加入这个社团……
