A few of you may remember that a while ago I submitted a review for a rather curious film by the title of Kibakichi. The basic premise was that a samurai-werewolf, with no fixed abode, is wandering around the countryside. If he meets up with some evil doers, ruffians and the like, he helps the damsel-frog in distress and goes on his way. There are small pockets of monsters, (who can look either human or monster-like and are the good guys by the way), throughout the land but they are shunned and feared by humans and at this point in history the two factions really don’t get along. So follows sword fights, fist fights, gun fights and tentacle fights. Some blood and gut’s later, the bad guys are finished and Kibakichi goes on his way knowing that he’s done his good deed for the day (and is now a step closer to his ‘Help Mutants in Peril’ Scout badge).
