Old MacDonald’s Farm is based on the famous song sung by parents everywhere to their children. The farm is a happy, fun place to be and an adventure in learning for children aged 1-5. Each story touches on the concepts and skills important to the pre-school age groups. Each new day brings new adventures for the farm animals as they discover the world around them, learn new things and sing many well-known nursery rhymes and newly created songs, specially created for the series.
Volume 8: Safety First and Other StoriesFarmer MacDonald’s has had a big clear out of the Farmhouse Loft and left a pile of boxes for the animals to sort out. Along the way, they learn some valuable lessons about safety as they have fun and games around the barn.
The young animals have a great idea to make some presents for Moo Moo and Neigh Neigh using rubbish from Neigh Neigh’s recycling bins, including a very useful “scarecrow robot”.
Baa Baa, Oink and Woof Woof are playing doctors and nurses in the barn. But when Woof Woof gets a splinter in his paw, his friends get so busy looking after him that they completely forget they should be helping to collect apples. Moo Moo is cross with them until she discovers a very important lesson about caring for others.
Woof Woof is too busy rushing around looking for his bone to remember his manners and Baa Baa comes up with a clever idea to remind the excitable young pup of his manners!
