The protagonist is a teenage girl (Tamaki) who revisits a small village she remembers from her childhood and gets caught up in her family's history and the supernatural dangers surrounding it. While walking along the hillsides waiting for the person who her grandmother sent to fetch Tamaki to the village, Tamaki comes across a small, white round object which has sticks for limbs and can talk. It runs off soon after with Tamaki chasing after it. Soon Tamaki finds herself in a place where "it does not feel like the world I came from." She gets attacked by three slime creatures, and a mysterious man comes charging in to save her by clamping his hands around her body and mouth then telling her to be quiet. After the young man (Takuma) saves her he walks her to the village where her grandmother is staying. Soon after her arrival she meets with her grandmother. It's later explained that she has to continue the role of ancestor princess (Tamayori), to seal the sword Onikirimaru with the help of her five guardians.

故事主角春日珠紀因父親� {到非洲工作，因此她被叫到外祖母家所在的季封村去，和外婆一起生活。被叫去的真正原因是因為一把名為「鬼斬丸」的刀因某種原因封印開始減弱，而導致村裡的神明紛紛騷動了起來，又因主人公的體內流著玉依血脈，被稱為「玉依姬」，而玉依姬自太古以來代代都繼承著封印「鬼斬丸」的使命。

同時，五位被稱為“守護者”守護玉依姬的少年們出現了。遊戲中就是描寫珠紀在對抗阻止封印的謎樣組織邏格斯的過程中，和“守護者”之間產生的戀情。

As the monster witin Takuma begins to rise,Tamaki realizes that she loves him.However,Logos and allies they once trusted will do any thing they can to separate the two. Everything from the past is revealed,and all that's left is to clear the way for a bright future.That is if it's still possible.
