The story revolves around four teenagers; Akina, Hime, Ao, and Kotoha; each of them having their own unique abilities. They run an office called Hiizumi Life Counseling Office, where their job is to help and protect the townspeople of Sakurashin, a town where humans and youkai co-exist with one another. The town is protected by a barrier created by the spiritual sakura known as The Seven Pillars. The Seven Pillars exist in both the human world and the youkai world and is the only thing that keeps both worlds connected to each other. However, recent bizarre incidents have occurred in their town and someone has threatened its safety. It is up to the four of them to protect the town they love.

《夜樱四重奏》是由安田典生从2006年起连载于《月刊少年天狼星》上的漫画作品，讲述的是一系列怪异的事件发生在了故事的舞台樱新町，因为得到非人类力量者数量的急剧增加使得这里混沌程度越来越重，而来自比泉生活协商事务所的我们的主角们则挺身而出，为此展开了一系列的行动。漫画的题材虽然不能算是十分新颖，不过鉴于作者雄厚的创作实力，还是为本作揽活了一大批的fans，原作也有幸与2008年10月改编为TV动画播出。在距离动画已经完结将近一年的2010年年初，《夜樱四重奏》宣布即将随漫画第九卷捆绑发售的全新OAD动画。
