少女小遥，今年14岁--是在大战後的机械人世界中所唯一被发现的人类，但发现她的那群机械人们秉持著「服务人类是我们至高无上的使命与喜税」当她的仆人与家人，但还有多数战争用的机械人当初被设定要残杀人类的指令尚未消除，所以除了要当这少女的家人、仆人外，更重要的是保护她。小遥并不把它们当作是机械人而真心把它们当作家人，这份真心感动了钢铁的心，让它们更希望能为她寻找到其他幸存的人类来与她作伴;本故事在日本极受欢迎并已改编为卡通，相信在不久的未来应该也有可以一睹卡通的机会吧!
