伊云(费迪夏摩亚饰)是一名音乐天才，可是他自小便在孤儿院渡过，他对音乐及声音充满了幻想和感动，把身边的风声、草声、鸟叫虫鸣都变成他心中乐章，他坚信心中响起的音乐，是他与父母的连系；而终有一天，他会凭着音乐找到失散的父母；可是他有所不知的是，他的父母并不知道伊云活在世界上某个角落！不知道真相的拉娜及路伊一直生活在各自的悔恨与伤感当中！

直至十一岁，被音乐的指引下，下定决心去寻找自己的父母，埃文离开孤儿院只身来到纽约，却在纽约的街头迷失了方向。这时，埃文被一个在街头演奏的孩子所吸引，并跟在他的身后，来到了一所废弃的菲尔莫东大剧院，他发现，这个暂时的避难所还有许多像他一样无家可归的孩子，一个被称为“巫师”的神秘人保护着他们。那一晚，埃文第一次拿起吉他，随即无师自通的他，就即兴为大家表演了一曲。
