本片為描寫經營茶園的中年夫婦和一男三女的家庭劇。自TBS的“3年B組金八老師”以來，兩人已經合作了10年，而此次為兩人首回搭檔出演夫妻。





TBS的製片人柳井滿表示出了對2人演技的極大信心。"我曾考慮過有機會讓他們兩人飾演夫妻。他們兩人一起，什麼都能演。"
