《扎职》讲述了香港江湖帮派十几年的风云变迁。阿霆（陈伟霆饰）与阿祥（曾国祥饰）及阿楝（徐伟栋饰）属同辈兄弟，三人十六岁开始在油麻地跟随四九耀文（谭耀文饰），情如手足。阿霆由旧同学搭路帮富豪收数，赚到钱之余，声名鹊起，于是得罪了同字头的火爆明（林利饰），招来一顿虐打，自此他对火爆明恨之入骨。身为黑社会，阿霆却与千金小姐Michelle （诗雅饰）相恋，爱得轰烈。Michelle的父亲王老板（卢海鹏饰）要她离开阿霆，和她输赌阿霆一定不肯为爱情放弃黑社会事业，Michelle唯有孤注一掷。社团下令要铲除火爆明，负责出手的阿霆三子受耀文所托，要放他一条生路，但最后关头，阿霆毫不犹豫一刀捅死火爆明报仇，亦为自己坐上龙头之位铺路。但他万万想不到的是，火爆明的遗孀Irene 姐（温碧霞饰）正蠢蠢欲动，既要和阿霆争做龙头大佬，更要他血债血偿。
