　　适时，女真密使慕容冲为霓裳师兄，为了统一武林，协助女真入侵中原，于是用计破坏一航与霓裳的感情，令霓裳一夜白头，愤走塞外。痴情的一航远赴塞外寻找，其间受到冲的破坏和陷害。幸而这一对苦命鸳鸯终于冰释前嫌，联同江湖英雄在山海关大破女真可汗，使皇太极一时无法入侵。熹宗驾崩之后，新皇帝崇祯赐奸臣魏忠贤死罪，魏忠贤其后自缢身亡，但崇祯受奸人所惑，将明朝大将袁崇焕赐死，致使大明江山从此瓦解。一航与霓裳在对国事失望之时，双双退隐江湖，过着神仙眷侣的生活。
