Chai Foon Chong (Au Yeung) has not won a single card game since his defeat in the International Poker Tournament 20 years ago. , In spite of his bad luck, he manages to secure a job at a casino. Ironically, the man who hires him is one of his former competitors, Kiu Ching Cho (Miu).

Chong is reunited with his long-lost brother Foon Lok (Wong) through a compulsive gambler named Li Ching Wan (Hsuan). Lok is a recluse with an extraordinary gift for gambling. Recognising Lok’s talent, Cho offers to teach him different gambling skills. On the surface, Cho is a great mentor who looks out for Lok and Chong, but in reality he is trying to create discord between the brothers.

As a matter od fact, it was Cho who had set Chong up and caused his downfall. Cho keeps fanning the flames of conflict between Chong and Lok, turning into bitter rivals on the gambling front.

自从二十年前在世界扑克王大赛中败阵后，齐欢畅(欧阳震华)便逢赌必输。偏偏是这份霉气，为他带来一份赌场的工作，而聘请他的，正是当年的对手之一乔正初(苗侨伟)。

畅因为好赌成性的李青云(宣萱)的缘故，而重遇失散多年的弟弟齐欢乐(黄宗泽)。乐是隐闭青年，初欣赏他对赌的天分，教授他不同的赌博技俩。表面上，初对畅、乐照顾有加。实际上，当年设局令畅一败涂地的是他，今日令乐仇视畅的亦是他！初的挑拨离间，令两兄弟不断在各地的赌桌上将兄弟情押上……
