周星驰是刚从警校毕业的警员，董骠想让他为自己报仇，于是暗中安排他与冯淬帆搭档，并让他住在自己以前的宿舍，也是冯淬帆的隔壁。周星驰邂逅冯淬帆的女儿陈德容，并为对方的美貌所倾倒，这时董骠现身，答应周星驰只要帮他找出真凶，就让周星驰赢得佳人芳心，周星驰勉强答应。



周与董很快就找到了杀死董的真凶，但此人身边有众多打手，还有法师保护，无论人鬼都无法下手，眼看董骠在阳间的日子已不多了，他们该如何将罪犯绳之以法呢？
