亞歷山大燈塔（阿拉伯語:منارة الإسكندرية‎）位於埃及的亞歷山大對面的法羅斯島上，因此也叫做「法羅斯島燈塔」，是世界七大奇跡之一。大約在前283年由小亞細亞的建築師索斯特拉特設計，在托勒密王朝時建造。由於歷史的模糊記載，預估高度115 ~ 150米之間（377 ~ 492英尺）。



亞歷山大燈塔有三層底層是正方形的塔基中層塔身為八角形，頂層為圓柱形的燈火樓，裝有反射鏡，據說夜間可以照亮方圓40公里的區域，用作地中海上航船的指航。



亞歷山大燈塔在1326年毀於地震。



摩索拉斯王陵墓

摩索拉斯王陵墓（古希臘語：Μαυσωλεῖον Ἁλικαρνασσεύς, Μαυσωλεῖον τοῦ Ἁλικαρνασσοῦ (Ἀλικαρνασσοῦ），是一座位於古希臘城邦哈利卡� {蘇斯（今土耳其博都茹姆）的陵墓，墓主是波斯帝國在當地的總督摩索拉斯（Mausolus）夫婦，修建於前350年左右，是世界七大奇跡之一。今日英語中「陵墓」一詞（mausoleum）即源自摩索拉斯的名字。



陵墓雖然歷經戰火，但是在很長時間內仍保持完好，後在一系列地震中被毀壞。1494年，聖約翰騎士團奪取該地，並修建要塞抵禦奧斯曼帝國，他們使用了震落的石塊作為原料。1522年，傳聞奧斯曼帝國要大舉進攻，騎士團遂又一次挖掘陵墓，以期獲得更多石料。在挖掘過程中，幾位騎士發現了摩索拉斯的墓室，但當他們次日回來打開墓室準備尋找財寶時，發現整個墓室已被搬空。此事究竟是騎士團還是當地村民所為，一直無人清楚，但是後世的發掘顯示，早在騎士團到來之前，墓室就多次遭到盜墓俚穆訆Z。
