Human and beast type Digimon once waged war against each other. Their battle laid waste to the Digital World, befouling what was once beautiful. Lucemon appeared however and brought an end to the fight. For some time he ruled in peace for the good of the Digital World, but was soon corrupted by his own power.
The ten legendary warriors rose up to Lucemon, and after a fierce and valiant battle, they defeated him. After peace was restored to the Digital World, the spirits of the legendary warriors were put to sleep, and three Celestial Digimon were chosen to protect that peace. Shortly afterwards however, Cherubimon became angry towards Serpahimon and Ophanimon.
