15 years ago, little Taosi who got drowned on the farm is saved by little Ruirui. The two kids come to the star apple tree and make a wish that can meet their true love earlier. But little Taosi leaves before has enough time to ask the little girl's name. How times flies and 15 years passes by. Taosi runs into Ruirui after he runs away from the wedding, but they don't recognize each other. Although Taosi and Mengzin's wedding's cancelled, Tianqi still can't come back to his old lover. Mengxin asks Tianqi to keep the secret that they are in a relationship, which makes Tianqi feel a lot of pain. Taosi tells his father that he want to run the farm. So his father gives him 3 months to see if he can do anything. Otherwise he has to go back to Taipei to marry Mengxin. When Taosi feels annoyed by his business, accidentally he knows that Ruirui is the girl who makes an appointment with him 15 years ago. He confesses to her but gets turned down because Ruirui loves Tianqi. Until some day, people find that Daqin keeps on catching 1000 butterflies for an imaginary legend that his wife will come back to her life.
